Association leaders are maritime professionals and cross industry executives with global reach.  From Alaska to Florida and Hawaii, their leadership experiences include executive and non-profit management, military command, pension, academic, legal, accounting, union reform and above all, hands-on seagoing work.  At the keel of this group are networks with the common interests and brotherhood of alumni, trades, and shipmates.

To confirm mariner dedication, the majority on the Board must have achieved the highest professional credentials and a minimum of 20 years of sea service. Registered bylaws of the Association regulate election to the Board of Directors.
